Thyromegaly is a common problem faced by the surgeons and physicians in the day to day practice. But, very often, irrelevant investigations are done because of the complex nature of the basic pathology behind thyromegaly. Unfortunately, till date, a simple, useful protocol is not available for the practical management of patients with goitre. Hence, I have given my own simple protocol which is very easy to remember and useful too in the management of patients with thyromegaly. I am sure this simple approach will be very useful not only for the medical students but also for the practicing surgeons and physicians all over the world.
